FIRST HALF OF SUMMER
Summer has been so fun! Driggs is at such a fun age to play with, and he enjoys everything! We have been trying to do as much as we can the days I am not working! He loves to be outside; swimming, riding his bike or four-wheeler or just running around.

Cash and Driggs in the backyard making smores... this is a sight to watch. Cash was good at getting his done, Driggs was good at gettin his extra done! He just likes to put the stick and let the mallow burn off:)

We had a big family party (not like we don't all the time, but this had a purpose)

My aunt and uncle got called to be mission presidents in Brazil, so we all had a last get together.

They will be amazing over there, but we will miss them!

SAN DIEGO-GLEASON FAMILY TRIP

We went to San Diego over father's day! This year Rob and I both said was our favorite! We did so many fun things with everyone. Driggs was so easy and good. The kids all played so good! It was just perfect!

We got Driggs the BEST bed! It's a blow up toddler bed. It has sides so he can't roll off. He thought it was pretty awesome and loved sleeping in it!

DISNEYLAND

Rob's family was going to Disneyland on Father's Day. I wanted to go so bad, but we were nervous Driggs would not understand the lines, get impatient, throw fits, whatever 2 year old do! We decided to go the day before... and we had to best time ever!!! We got there right when it opened! The weather was perfect. Not hot at all, which in June is great. It was cloudy all day, but never rained. We hardly had to wait in any lines. Rob's family has disneyland down to a T. We get in lines, then whoever is out with the babies goes and gets fast passes to o,ther rides. We seriously had to wait only 20 longest and it was for Mr. Toads adventure! Driggs was amazing. Loved everything! Rob said after(since he needed the convincing) that he was SO happy we went.

NEMO

Driggs loves Mickey Mouse. It's his favorite show. He still gets the biggest smile if you asked him "Did you go see mickey?" But, let me tell you, he hates life size creatures. Was terrified. Oh well.. He still loves him.

MISSION BAY

I always try to update sooner... oh well:) For easter this year we had a great day. Driggs basket was not hidden too well, but he was so nervous to take it out from under the table.

Easter morning!!

Finally we dug into the basket and got our goodies out!

We went to my parents for breakfast and an easter egg hunt.( Benefit of being an only grandchild.. get to search for eggs at your own pace.) His basket was FULL! We then went to grandma Jan's for dinner and another egg hunt. Some of her eggs have money!! Lauryn saved a section of eggs for Driggs because the older kids are so fast at gathering up things. Luckily we don't care if we get one or ten!

A couple weeks after Rob and I went to Miami and Key West. We had a great trip down there, and are so thankful to my family and Jan for watching Driggs. He had a good week. Pack N Plays are apparently no longer his "thing" so he got to sleep in his grandparents' bed EVERY night!

We got to go to the First game of the playoffs against the Celtics. That was a fun game. The energy there was crazy..and they won so that was even better!

Key West.. it was really pretty and fun down here! Every night they celebrate the sunset at Mallory Square. There are performers and treats.. and then you watch the beautiful sunset!

Driggs turned 18 months old in March... he weighed 21.12 lbs and 34 inches. He is consistently 7% for weight and 50% for height~ it is nice that he fits into clothes for a long time. He just started wearing some 18-24 month tops and this summer will still fit into most his shorts from last. He has started nursery, and lets just say Rob LOVES it:) I have to be in primary so Rob gets to play in nursery. I honestly thought with me working, and him being babysat a couple times a week he would transition okay, i was wrong, he cries as soon as we start walking out the door, i know that's normal, but does not stop. Separation Anxiety is something I never wanted my kids to have, so we are taking it slow. Maybe after some good consistent time he will adjust? That's the hope! Other than that he is a fun, good boy figuring out just what buttons he can push:) His new thing is spitting, at anything. Mad, happy, just by himself. Who knows.... I am trying to ignore it to see if it will just go away, because other discipline just hasn't worked well with that one. He loves to be outside, so any nice day we are getting, that's usually where we are! I am grateful for Driggs in my life... I think being a mom makes you a better person.. well that's the goal!

We went to the aquarium with Roman and Lisa. It was pretty cute. I love that the kids are all getting a little older, because they are starting to really play with eachother. Driggs runs around that place like he owns it, and Roman had never been.. so the first tank we looked at a huge fish came swimming right towards Roman's face and he was terrified that it was going to get him...He screamed.. I don't blame him:)

After that we went to the park for our cousin play group. It was so nice and the kids all have fun together!!

Conference Sunday... Sun to Snow!

I loved conference this Spring. It was very inspirational and I feel like every talked gave me something I want to work at. Service.. being a big one. Last night for Relief Society we went to Globus, which is an organization that ships supplies out to other areas in need, and we organized medicines, beauty supplies, medical equipment, etc... but it makes you realize how many people need the smallest thing, like vitamins, and how much we really have. Simplifying your life gives you more time for everything. Less to organize:) more time to receive inspiration from the lord on things that really need to happen or matter!

Christmas(Yes I know so long ago) We had such a great time this year. Driggs was at such a fun age. He was a little overwhelmed at times, but had a wonderful day. Christmas Eve we had our tradition of dinner at Jan's house, and then my Grandma Harts for talent show/nativity! Driggs was Joseph this year, quite a different role from baby Jesus last year? He also performed a little dance in the talent portion of the evening... to his favorite"hey soul sister"

Christmas morning... getting ready for Driggs to wake up. He was so cute coming down the stairs.. he kept saying"Woah, Woah" at everything!

My family and Jan came over and watched him open their presents, and some of his santa presents.

This was the face he made when he saw what santa had brought him.., and let me tell ya he had no fear. He would full throttle it down the hall, run into the wall and start all over. I was a little nervous. I told Rob he needed a helmet and everyone laughed at me, I guess its only 2 MPH?

Christmas Day at Grandma Hart's!

For New years we went to Scottsdale with Jan for a warmer get away.. we went to a Zoo type place? called The Wildlife Park? I would have thought it was a Zoo in Mexico, because you could get so close to the animals? Feed Giraffe, only a double chain link fence between you and the leopards(Rob tried to touch ones foot.. bad idea it seriously almost got his finger, hello?) and could walk around with kangaroos. Driggs had a blast though!

He is growing so fast.. Just turned 18 months. We have his appt. Thurs so we will post his big growth then:) Prob not much!

Christmas Time

As Christmas gets near, I get more excited. This is not Driggs first christmas, but it feels exciting because we can start our family traditions, and he enjoys them more . We have been having a great

December. We went downtown as a family a couple weekends ago. We went to gateway, shopped, ate dinner, then took trax down to see the lights. It was a perfect night! The weather was great and Driggs was such a content boy. He said "WOW" at every tree with lights on it (which is every tree) We have had fun getting Christmas ready.. and have actually enjoyed shopping with everyone else!

We are thankful for the birth of our savior, and the great sacrifice that he gave for us. I am grateful that I get to spend eternity with my family and that we are given the blessing to enjoy Christmas seasons! I wish that all year round had the same special feelings that Christmas does. I am sure that we enjoy it even more because it only comes once a year!

Thanksgiving Week

I did not take any pictures on thanksgiving day (dang) I forgot! We had such a wonderful thanksgiving this year, and are so thankful. I am thankful for my family and friends, a job that I love, Rob and Driggs for making me so happy, and the things that surround us every day.

Driggs learned that he can get out of Gus' dog door, he was just throwing everything out of it, and I guess thought to throw himself out.

Driggs got his new JAZZ jersey... do you think he likes it? What a cheese.

Thanksgiving we had two wonderful dinners, an early one at Jan's and then we went to my grandma's after. We left for St. George that night, and talked Megan and Aaron into coming. We had a fun weekend and Driggs got lots of attention. He was cuddly at this point of Aaron holding him. I love it when they cuddle, even if its not me!

Driggs is almost 14 months old, but I wanted to wait until we got his one year pictures done to do his one year post.

The year has flown by...seriously. It has been the best year. Driggs has been the best boy. He sleeps great, eats great, is happy, and is just a joy for our entire family. I love him beyond words can describe. It is crazy the love you can have for someone. He has grown so much and it is so much fun to watch him learn new things everyday. Their brains amaze me, how one day they just "get it"
He is starting to say words, makes sounds when he plays with anything with wheels, can take two or so steps, loves to dance, and loves attention. He is pretty chessy!
We love our little boy and can't wait for all the other milestones we get to enjoy!

Fall is in the Air

It is kind of sad to see the sun leaving us.. We will miss being outside all the time. I do love fall, the holidays that it brings, and the scenery. We ended our nice warm summer in Lake Powell. Driggs had such a great time, and I could not have asked him to be better. He loved being with all his cousins.

We had an awesome beach, and the kids would play out there all day.

He loved riding the jet ski, and even more than that he loved the tube. He would be so sad when we would stop. I think I laughed more than all the kids on it with us.

He loved all the meals.. Fruit, donuts, muffins, more fruit!! He loves to eat.. yet he is still so small.

We have been appreciating the cooler weather, we went up to brighton to walk around the lake and have a picnic. This is our favorite!

The kids insisted on riding in the same stroller, even though Mindi had her brand new sweet double stroller!

We had a wonderful summer, it goes by way to fast. Driggs is already 13 months, becoming a "big boy"and it's so much fun, but so sad how fast it goes!!!

We had Driggs birthday party last week. He turns one this Sat. but we had his party early!!
It was so much fun, and we are so thankful to everyone who came.

Jackson Hole

Last weekend we went to Jackson Hole with Rob's family. Marty and Karli could not make it, but Lauryn and Bridger came with us. Driggs was in heaven the whole time with kids everywhere to play with. As you can tell, he loves to give kisses. This night he and Lauryn were playing with his truck, and he kept giving her the biggest kisses. It was so funny and she was definitely a trooper getting so slobbery.

He is walking against everything now. He thinks he is pretty cool because this is a "big boy" thing to do.

Friday we went to the park and played. Walked around town square, went on the alpine slide, and that night went to a chuck wagon dinner. It was such a fun night. They took us up the mountain in wagons, and the horses were Driggs favorite thing. He thought they were pretty sweet. We then ate dinner and they did a little show.

Driggs turns one in a week and a half, and I am going through a little bit of denial. He was always so little. I bought him some Jammies a while ago that were 12 month thinking he could wear them this fall, and they pretty much fit him now. Normal... yes of course.. but for my baby I feel like he should still be in 6 month clothes! He is growing and that is amazing. We love him to pieces.

The past couple of months, Driggs has had many firsts!! It been a busy summer, but that's how we like it!

Driggs went on the boat for the FIRST time! I can't believe it took so long. He actually liked it a lot, and he did great with his life jacket, even though it makes his face so smooched.

We went to Liberty park, and he went on his FIRST carousel ride!

He got his FIRST "pool" (don't be confused by this term, it's more like a giant floaty)
He LOVES the water, and he will splash like this for an hour.

~SAN DIEGO~
We went on our FIRST of many trips to San Diego as a family. He loved playing with his cousins all day, and thought they were the most entertaining thing.

We would then go to the pool and he would splash forever! He wore himself right out everyday.

We went for our 16th year down to Newport for the 4th of July! It's so busy there, it makes it so fun! It's great to get to see all of my cousins and the kids!

9 Months

I can not believe I am 9 months old today. Things have gone by so fast, and I am getting bigger every day. I got my first tooth up top 2 days ago. I was not even fussy.

For my nine month birthday, my mom took me to my aunt Cookie's house to go swimming. It was not technically my first time, but we got no pictures the first time. I loved the pool today, and it help they keep their pool at 90 degrees.

I was so comfortable in the warm water and shade I almost fell asleep. It was such a fun day!

Our next goal is to make me gain a little weight. My 9 Month appt I only weighed 15.8lbs to I get a lot a treats, and we go back to the doctor in a couple weeks to make sure I am growing enough.

Cruise

We got back from our cruise a couple weeks ago, and we had such a fun time. I must say Driggs did so well back at home, and I was not worried about him. Thanks so much Cookie and Jan.

We went to Labadee, Jamaica, Grand Cayman and Cozumel. The weather was great, and we did such fun things. Hiked the waterfalls, and tubed the river in Jamaica. Grand Cayman we went out to the sting rays, and in Cozumel my mom, Gabi and I swam with the dolphins. They pushed us, we got to hold onto their fins, it was such an awesome experience.

Easter Eggs and Bowling Balls?

We had a great Easter this year. We went to Jan's for Easter lunch, watched the second part of conference at her house, then went to my parents and out to our Grandma Hart's for Family Home Evening. It was such a fun day!

Last week we went to Pizza Factory and Fat Cats with lots of our family. It was such a fun night, hanging out with everyone and playing games!! I am so lucky to have such a great extended family, and love spend time with everyone.

Too Long!

Everyone likes excuses, right?

Driggs: where do I begin. He is amazing. 6 1/2 months, and the best baby. I seriously don't know why I got so lucky. He will go shopping for 5 hours( like yesterday with Grandma, Gabi, Mindi and Megan) sleeps through the night, rarely cries, and loves to play and laugh!
He is still small, but that's okay with me. I get a baby for longer.

He loves peak-a-boo, bath time, dancing, and the outside. He is so special!!

Anytime in the morning he gets to come into our bed, it's like a dream to him. He sleeps like a log in our bed, why is that, and loves to cuddle.

His new high chair. He thinks he is a big boy!!! He loves to throw his toys on the ground. Soon enough I know it will be food for Gus!
We leave on a cruise in three weeks, so about a month ago, he had his first trial weekend at Grandma and Grandpa's house and he did so good. Let's hope he is great for Cookie and Grandma Jan.

Jessica and I threw a shower for Megan. She is due in almost five weeks. Can't wait for the little guy. Meg looks adorable! We had such a fun time catching up! It's always good to see friends.

I am now charging my camera, so lets hope I step it up in the picture department.

Birthdays

We had a great Christmas. It was so much fun with Driggs, even though he still is so little. We had a great time with family, and it is always our favorite time of year!

We did a fun nativity at my Grandma Hart's house Christmas eve, Driggs got to be Jesus!

For New Year's;Rob, I, Driggs and Jan went to Scottsdale! Driggs took his first airplane ride, and he did so good! We had a blast shopping and hanging out!

Driggs had his 4 month appt at the beginning of January! It's crazy how fast they grow.

Christmas is Near

I love love Christmas time. It's a fun time to get together with family and friends! I love the feeling Christmas brings;focusing on the savior, listening to Christmas music, and spending time together.

Got his bumbo early and he loves staring at everything.

Last week, and I had a Chirstmas get together with some girl friends, and then Jarin and Taci threw a party for the friends. We had a great time!!

My visiting teacher gave me a great article about Christmas being a time to celebrate babies, "We focus on Jesus around the holiday, but it's also about the baby;small, helpless and new. That first Christmas night, his hands had not yet healed the sick, raised the weary. His lips had not spoken to multitudes to teach about his father. His shoulders had not yet lifted the cross and his head had not worn thorns. On this night Jesus was a baby, wasn't yet mighty or great, he was sweet, innocent, pure and perfect. Most importantly he was full of the hope and promise of what he would become. That is what is great about this day is we get to remember the hope of perfect and powerless newborn wrapped in swaddling clothes. We all get to feel the hope of a newborn child, wondering what would become through perfect faith, working a little harder to become like that little child. "
This obviously affected me due to Driggs being in our family this year and having a different understanding of what's important.

We can not wait for Christmas Eve and Day to arrive!! We hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas Week.

Thanksgiving, and St. George

This Thanksgiving, we ate dinner at Jan's house(which was delicious as always)stopped by my Grandma Hart's, and then that night drove down to St. George.

Driggs is now 2 1/2 months, and I can not believe it. He is the best baby so we could freeze this moment and I would be fine forever! He has started to smile and that makes my day, everyday. He is hilarious, smiles the most when being talked or sung to and we start going really fast. Loves it! He is a great sleeper for me, usually sleeps from 11:00pm to 7:30am straight. We love him and are so thankful for him in our family!!!

Gabi and I attempted a "photo shoot" (really Jenny took his real 2 month photos, can't wait for them!!!!) My dad set up his own "set" and it was so funny! So Grandpa Scott!

We see Whit quite a bit, and she is so good with Driggs. Loves to help feed him his bottle, always thinks he is ready to eat! She can hold him, bounce him (sometimes it's like a rollercoaster) and is so cute with him. I am glad we have so many friends around us to play with and keep us sane.

We also went to Primarys for a follow up on his surgery, and it looks like his kidneys are decreasing in size, so that's great! We don't need to go back until he is five months, so we are just grateful everything is looking great.

Driggs Blessing

We blessed Driggs Oct. 11th. It was such a special day. He was so good and Rob gave such a great blessing. We are so grateful to have so many great family and friends that supported us, thanks everyone for the help.

One month already

I can't believe that Driggs is already a month old. It has gone by so fast. It has been such a fun, great experience. We love him so much, and he has been such a blessing in out lives.

My friends from hair school and I all have babies within 2 months of eachother. Lisa finally had Roman on Wed so we got a picture of them all together today.

This month has been a journey, and I am so excited for all the time we have ahead of us as a family.

Two Weeks and First Hospital Visit

When I was about 32 weeks pregnant I recieved an ultrasound and they noticed that Driggs' kidneys were holding extra fluid. They kept an eye on the fluid and measured it about every two-three weeks. Last friday we went up to Primarys for an ultrasound to see how the fluid volume had changed. They did the ultrasound, and then wanted us to do a x-ray. Luckily my mom had work off and was able to go with me. We waited around, then a couple hours later received the x-ray. They saw that he had "Posterior Urethral Valves" which means he had little flaps of skin in his Urethra that did not allow enough pressure when he urinated, so the urine would back up into the kidneys. They made us wait around for a couple hours, and we did not know what was going on. They finally told us they were doing the surgery that day, so I called Rob and he headed right up. They took a tiny scope up his urethra and cut the tiny valves. He had to stay overnight, but he did not good. He was such an angel all day. We are so lucky they found this while he was so little, because mostly they don't find out until kids get very sick, and by then their kidney function is very poor. Everything should be great, we just have to go back and get ultrasounds to make sure his kidneys are draining.

We love him so much and are so happy that everything is doing okay.

Driggs Scott Gleason

He came a month early, out of no where. I just started feeling crampy, so we went in and they said I was having contractions.Everything went so good, and it was a lot easier than I expected!! He is healthy and has been so much fun to have with us finally! We love him so much and I can not believe how special he is to me.

It is so much fun watching Rob interact with him. He is such a help and has been so in love with him.

We finally got the room all finished. While I was in California Rob surprised me and finished all the painting and brought all the furniture in. It was such a great surprise. We finished all the decorations and put the room all together. I love it, and it is so crazy to have it done. I am so excited and just can't wait for him to get here!!

Our sweet cousin Sara and Mike got married last Saturday in the LA temple. We made the trip down to the wedding, most of us husbandless. It was so beautiful!!

This past weekend: Taci gave me a great ward shower. It was so kind of everyone to come, we got some great things.
We went up to Island Park for a family reunion with Jan's side of the family. It was so beautiful up there, we had a great weekend getaway!

Alyse and Brooks.. the kids went four wheeling and dirt biking. They were playing in the field together.. they were so cute.

My Mom's friends threw me a great shower last night. My parents are lucky to have such great friends, that are so kind, and that we are so close to. We seriously got such great things. We are very fortunate.

Newport Family Vacation!!

We had another great year on our annual Hart Family vacation to Newport Beach. I look forward to this every year, and enjoy it so much. We are so blessed to be so close to our family and that we get to spend great time with them every year.

I wish these pictures did justice, but I am doing a post dedicated to Whit. We went to chick-fil-a (surprise, surprise, we LOVE it) and she insisted on holding the ice cream cone all by herself. Danny did not like the mess very much but she was so funny. They would take it away and try to feed it to her, she would start crying so dramaticly. They would give it back and she would laugh so hard. Me and Rob were laughing so much at her, not being very supportive, how can you not?

Ok, I have not posted forever! I feel like all I have to post about is my belly growing, which has been so much fun, but not very exciting for everyone else. We babysat Rob's sister's three kids for three days this month, and we had a blast. It's crazy going from 0-3 but they are such good kids.

Starting mid May, I started doing hair just from my home. Rob finished the basement in February and built me a beautiful salon. He does such an amazing job! It has been such a blessing to work just from my house and my clients have been so supportive. I was so scared of change coming from the salon, but I could not have asked for anything better. It will be perfet when the baby is here.

YaY!!!! GUS IS FINALLY GOING TO HAVE A BROTHER!
I AM PREGNANT

Most people know, and I have been so scared in case something goes wrong, but we had our third ultrasound yesterday and everything is great, and it is a BOY!!!!
We are so excited. I am already so in love with him, Rob is so excited and I know even more that he has a little man to teach all the boy things to. We can't wait.It is amazing how much our relationship has changed already.I love Rob so much more, its crazy. Our due date changes every appt, but the latest is 9/26/09. That makes me 18 weeks and 5 days, but who's counting:)

Moab Half Marathon

We went to Moab last weekend and ran the canyonlands half marathon. It was really hard, but fun at the same time. Nice to have it done!!! It was fun to do it with a lot of my family!!!

Hawaii!!!

We got back from Hawaii a couple weeks ago. We went with our good friends and neighbors Bill and Jandie to Oahu, and then our good friends Chad and Jessica met us in Maui. We had such a great time. It was so beautiful there. It was whale season and we saw some very amazing things close up. It was a wonderful time and it was hard coming back to the cold weather.

Us at Kimo's. They had this amazing dessert called the"Hula Pie" The restaurant was right on the water and we went there three different times just for dessert. It was huge and great!!

Merry Christmas

We had a wonderful christmas this year! Last Sat. the 20th, we had my Grandma Hart's 80th birthday party. It was so fun to have my entire(almost)extended family in town for that. Christmas eve was so fun. We went to Jan's house for present opening, and had dinner there. The kids are so fun to watch. Alyse recieved a princess costume, and she was in heaven. She loved posing like a princess for us!

We then went to my parents, and then over to my grandma Hart's house for our annual nativity and talent show. This year out did all the others in the talent department(talent or not it was awesome) We had so many great and funny performances. Danny and Jake singing hymns in russian, Silver fox and the JJ's playing the trumpet,flute and piano, and some great singing that would be awesome on american idols funny performances. It was such a fun night. We got back to my mom's house later and relized gus had gotten into an early x-mas present and opened a whole bag of bacon strips and had them to himself. He was so hyper, and when we got home he crashed! He still smells like bacon....

Christmas day was filled with the same wonderful family events!!! We are thankful for the wonderful friends and family we have in our life!!

Hart Family Thanksgiving

We had our annual Hart Family Thanksgiving this past Sat. (on Rob's bday) We had such a fun time, and love getting together with our family.

Today is Rob's Birthday, and I just wanted to wish him a happy one. Rob is such a great person, and I am so lucky to have him as my husband!!!

This weekend we went to Las Vegas with Megan and Zach Longson. We had a blast. We played bingo, shopped, and ate a ton of wonderful food!!!

We had our annual Newport beach trip with the Hart side!

In April; Rob, Ali, Scott, Lori, Gabi, and Jan went to New York for our first time. There was a lot to see, and we were always on the go. It was a great family trip.

We had the opportunity in Feb. to go on a cruise with the Dana family. We had such a blast!!!

Now we are COOL!
